Aesthetic Escapes Terms and Conditions
Booking Conditions
Please read these Booking Conditions carefully as they apply to all bookings accepted by Aesthetic Escapes Pty Ltd. Aesthetic Escapes is not itself a transport, tour, accommodation, hospital or medical service provider. It acts only as an agent for those service providers. You should obtain and read the applicable service provider’s terms and conditions as they may limit or exclude liability in respect of death, personal injury, delay and loss or damage to baggage.
How to book:
Confirmation of your surgery holiday will be initiated upon receipt of reading the General Risk of Surgery and your acceptance of the Pre-Surgery Price Estimate. You must also read, accept and return the Disclaimer Form to Aesthetic Escapes.
Service fee:
A service fee of $199 including GST is payable with your booking confirmation. This service fee is non-refundable. The full service fee must be paid to secure your medical consultations, theatre booking and transfers in Malaysia. After receiving the $199, your medical appointments and accommodation arrangements will be finalised, as per your instructions.
Accommodation payments:
Full payment of your accommodation package is required at least 14 days prior to departure. If for some reason your payment is not received by us by the due date, Aesthetic Escapes reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled and apply the appropriate cancellation charges. Accommodation payments are made directly to Aesthetic Escapes. Method of payment for bookings & accommodation is as follows:

Bank Transfer – contact us via email enquiries@aestheticescapes.com and request bank deposit details.
Bank Cheque or Money Order made out to Aesthetic Escapes Pty Ltd.
Hospital & surgery payments:
Final costs for any medical procedures requested will be discussed during the pre-surgery consultation between you and the surgeon and paid by you directly to the hospital after the consultation. It is at your sole discretion to proceed with any surgical procedures after final costs are provided by the surgeon. The responsibility of acceptance of the procedures and final costs discussed upon your pre-surgery consultation are solely between you and the surgeon. Cost may vary depending on any additional procedures, or changes in procedures. Including but not limited to currency fluctuations.
Method of payment for hospital stay and surgery:
Full hospital and surgery payment is required and paid directly to the hospital after the pre-surgery consultation. Payment can be made with your local currency, Malaysian Ringgit or Credit Card.
Cancellation policies:
There are no surgery cancellation fees if you decide not to go ahead with surgery, however, if you decide to cancel or terminate your holiday, some cancellation fees apply:
- The service fee is non refundable.
- All accommodation bookings must be paid in full, 14 days prior to your departure. Bookings not paid for will be considered cancelled by Aesthetic Escapes.
- When a cancellation is received in writing within 14 days of your departure; a penalty of 3 nights' accommodation will be forfeited together with any bank and/or credit card charges. However, if you choose to rebook at a later date, the payment will be credited towards your surgical holiday, the cancellation fee will be reduced to 1 night forfeit and the balance put in credit towards the later booking.
- When a cancellation is received less than 48 hours before the time of your departure, or in the case of a ‘no show’ the full accommodation charge will be forfeited together with any bank and/or credit card charges. If you decide to rebook at a later date, the payment will be credited towards your surgical holiday, the cancellation fee will be reduced to 3 night forfeit and the balance put in credit towards the later booking.
- No refund is available for cancellations after the surgery holiday package has commenced or in respect of accommodation, meals or any other services not utilised.
Health and immigration:
You are responsible for all visa, passport, immigration, quarantine, customs, health and other requirements of the countries visited or transited. A valid passport (with at least 6 months validity) must be carried by each person. Aesthetic Escapes is not responsible for your failure to comply with these requirements.
Travel and medical insurance
You are responsible for travel insurance. Aesthetic Escapes does not include any insurance in the cost of your surgical holiday. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance, so that you will be comprehensively insured for your travel to and stay in Malaysia. Aesthetic Escapes strongly recommends that you disclose all relevant matters to your insurer including the probability that you may be undertaking elective surgery as part of your travel.
Booking arrangements:
The person making the booking will be deemed to have accepted these Booking Conditions on behalf of everyone named in the booking. All communication from us will usually be sent to you via email.
Limits of liability:
To the extent permitted by law, Aesthetic Escapes excludes all liability for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to physical and psychological injury, and loss or damage to property of whatever nature) that may arise in any form in connection with the offer or supply of goods or services through Aesthetic Escapes or any third parties, or in connection with the supply of such goods or services. If the law implies a condition or warranty that cannot be excluded, Aesthetic Escapes’ liability for a breach of the condition or warranty will be limited as determined by Aesthetic Escapes to the cost of re-supplying the relevant goods or services.
Law of contract:
These Booking Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia and any action arising under them or in any way connected with the surgery holiday may be brought only in a court in Western Australia, subject to any law which is expressly inconsistent with this.
